About Our Services
My Life Clinic offers professional, confidential pregnancy medical services at no cost. We are the only free provider for pregnancy testing and ultrasound in Central MO. Our services are offered without restrictions of age, marital status, race, religion, residency or income.
We care about you. My Life Clinic personnel are respectful and sensitive to your feelings and beliefs and can help you process your concerns so you can make informed choices regarding your pregnancy. My Life Clinic does not perform or refer for abortion services.
Your First Visit
You will meet with a client advocate who will talk with you about your situation. One of our registered nurses will perform your pregnancy test. The pregnancy test requires a urine sample in order to detect a hormone called hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), which is produced in women after conception has occurred. Our tests are 97-99% accurate. You will have the results during your appointment.
If You are Pregnant
If your pregnancy test is positive, our medical staff can provide you with verification and talk with you about your pregnancy options. You will also be given referrals for medical care, insurance and other community agencies. You may be offered an ultrasound exam upon qualification.
Limited Obstetrical Ultrasound Exam
A limited ultrasound exam is valuable to the health of those considering different methods of abortion as well as those who plan to obtain prenatal care. The purpose of our limited ultrasound program is to date the pregnancy and confirm it is a living pregnancy inside the uterus. Pregnancy concerns and precautions are discussed, such as miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy, with each of our clients.
